Truly The Greatest Love of All

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our first blog!

This blog will be the first of many, so stay connected and keep an eye out for new content on our social media platforms.

In this blog series we are going to be talking about ‘LOVE’ we all desire to be loved by someone so why not talk about the greatest love of all to kick start this series….

What is the greatest love of all?

Yes most of us know the famous Whitney Houston song “Greatest love of all” which was a huge hit back in the 80s. There is a lyric that says:

“Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all.”

Loving yourself is important, as in order to love others you must love yourself first. However this isn’t the greatest love of all. Truly the greatest love of all is the Love God has for us. The way God loves us is so great; it’s immeasurable after all he is the one who created us in his own image (Genesis 1:27)

" God loves us so much that He gave us Jesus, the most perfect gift. "

The Bible is full of God’s Love for us from beginning to end; Genesis to Revelation. There are so many wonderful verses that talk about the Love he has for us and although we can only share a few, we encourage you to read scriptures on God’s love in the bible. If you are unsure of God’s love for you ask him to reveal this truth to you…..Trust me when I say this, when you get that divine revelation of God’s love for you, your life will never be the same again.

When I started to speak these words of love over my life, His love for me started to rise up on the inside and it changed how I viewed myself and others. Knowing how much God loves me and the sacrifice He made by sending His begotten son to die for me, helps me to love people the way God created me to love; the revelation of His love makes me want to live my life to please Him; It makes me want to do everything I have been called to do on this earth so He can get the glory.

“ Believe it, Receive it, Walk in it, Put it on ”

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He (even) gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. (John 3 v 16-17 AMPC)

“ We are not called to be ordinary or live a mediocre life, when we truly live the life God has for us everything will change.”

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would (be permitted to) be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. (1 John 1 v 3 AMPC)

Nothing or no one can stop God’s love for us; there are no conditions to His love. He always has and always will love you, even if you don’t love or believe in Him for yourself. Jesus died for all people who’ve ever lived and will ever live; His sacrifice wasn’t conditional on us loving Him. Although there is only one way we can receive his salvation and all the benefits of it and that is to choose Him and accept Him as Lord and Saviour.

Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8 v 37-39 AMPC)

Another way God shows His incredible love for us is that He gave all of us Free will. This Free will gives us all a choice to choose whether or not we want to accept Him in our hearts or lives. He will not override our Free will; God doesn’t want robots that are forced to accept Him and love Him, He wants people to choose Him for themselves.

When you personally experience the greatest love of all it affects how you love others and the choices you make, every life is important to God; He loved us from the beginning of time (Millennia) before you were born He knew you, He created you in your mother’s womb. You are precious in His sight, His love for you is eternal it will never end.

“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew (and) approved of you (as my chosen instrument), and before you were born I separated and set you apart….” (Jeremiah 1:5 AMPC)

So whether or not you have someone to celebrate with this Valentine’s Day, remember God’s love for you is perfect. No other love can compare; we pray that you are able to reflect on this pure love God has for you and the thought of this makes you really full of Joy on the inside.

Much Love & Blessings,

The CLM Team
